Where’d The Time Go?

There’s this guy at my work who just recently started there, and he’s a good ol boy from down in Kentucky. I have a good time talking with him, but because of the nature of our jobs we don’t get much time to chat.

The other day he decided to make good on a promise that he would tell me about two of his possible UFO encounters. He believes he was possibly abducted both times.

The first time was when he was a child and hanging out with his grandmother, if I remember correctly. This is the one story I don’t remember as well. Basically they both saw some lights out in a field one night and they somehow lost a few hours.

The second story took place when he was in high school. His parents said he could have a party at the house with drinking, as long as everyone behaved. He got his older brother to buy him the alcohol, and they got four cases of beer. As it turned out, 60 or so people showed up and they went through four cases rather quickly. At nine o’clock that night, he and his older brother set out to get more beer.

A Message From Aliens

I don’t know. Maybe it’s legit. Maybe it’s not. Still interesting. I’ve had these thoughts about aliens for a long time though, and so have a lot of other people. Maybe there’s something to this. Also, I don’t know who Jean Ederman is, or how legit the guy is normally, as this is the first time I’ve ever heard his name and didn’t feel like Googling it.

You can read the whole thing at So, what do you think?

Alien Message to Mankind: “Do You Wish That We Show Up?”

The original source of this information appears to be by Mr. Jean Ederman, now 49, of France, who evidently works in the field of aviation.

He claims to have been a military jet pilot, air traffic controller and airport manager, and to have a masters in economics. He also claims to have had a number of anomalous experiences since the age of six, which later included a number of UFO sightings and ET contacts.

He writes: “… after having learned how to mentally project myself to a place in the presence of benevolent extraterrestrials, I received the following message…”

[Translated from French into English by Dan Drasin, a Marin-based film-maker and researcher].

Each one of you wishes to exercise your free will and experience happiness. Your free will depends upon the knowledge you have of your own power. Your happiness depends upon the love that you give and receive.

Like all conscious races at this stage of progress, you may feel isolated on your planet. This impression gives you a certain view of your destiny. Yet you are at the brink of big upheavals that only a minority is aware of.

It is not our responsibility to modify your future without your choosing it. So consider this message as a worldwide referendum, and your answer as a ballot.

Neither your scientists nor your religious representatives speak knowledgeably about certain unexplained aerial and celestial events that mankind has witnessed for thousands of years.

To know the truth, one must face it without the filter of one’s beliefs or dogmas, however respectable
they may be.

A growing number of anonymous researchers of yours are exploring new paths of knowledge and are getting very close to reality. Today, your civilization is flooded with an ocean of information of which only a tiny part, the less upsetting one, is notably distributed.

Bear in mind that what in your history seemed ridiculous or improbable has often become possible, then realized — in particular in the last fifty years.

Be aware that the future will be even more surprising. You will discover the worst as well as the best.

Many of those who study our appearances point to lights in the night, but without lighting the way. Often they think in terms of objects when it is all about conscious beings.

More Lake Ghosts, And UFOs

I told you about some odd things happening at the lake where I hang out with my dad. I just spent some time with him and he told me a few stories I had forgotten about, so I thought I’d share them here. He also told me how nothing seems to happen much anymore at the lake, except things going missing all the time.

He currently lives with the old man who owns the property. My dad takes care of the man, since his own family (who lives next door) seems to not care much about him. My dad said he figured he would see all kinds of weird stuff while living there, but so far nothing much has happened, other than things going missing when they shouldn’t.

Recently, the old man had his license plate renewal stickers and updated registration come in the mail. My dad brought it in from the mailbox and set it down on the kitchen table. He told the old man about it and the old man said for my dad to put the stickers on the plates on the truck in the morning. My dad said he would. It has been a week now, and neither can find the letter with the stickers or the registration. It had never been moved, by them, from the kitchen table.

My dad said “hundreds” of times, but more like dozens most likely, is how many times the TV remotes have switched places. Both men have their own chairs in the living room, and both have tables next to the chairs. Depending on who is watching TV, or who is in charge of it, depends on who has the remotes. My dad told me those remotes, when they’re sitting on his table when he’s using them, either when the old man is gone or sleeping, my dad will go to get one and find it gone, only to discover it’s sitting on the old man’s table next to his chair. The only person who could have moved it would have been my dad, and there’s no reason he would have done that, and then forgot doing it.

Aside from that, nothing else has happened. Except last night, when my dad and I were sitting at my dads place by the lake, we both heard a car come down the driveway. My dad asked if I had heard a car and I said I had. Just after I said that, outside we heard one of the dogs take off, run up towards the driveway, and then bark once it was up there. We investigated, and nobody was there.

Unidentified Flying Objects

Only once in my life have I seen anything in the sky that I could pass off as a UFO. Of course, I have no idea what it was, so it WAS a UFO to me, but it’s the only thing I could consider to be something not from this world.

I was in the 10th grade and it was summer, so this would have been 1996. It was band camp week. Yes, I am a band camp person, and no, I’m not starting the story off that way. This was our first year at this particular camp, Camp America in Hueston Woods. Nice place. MUCH better than the place we had gone my freshman year.

It was that week when a lot of people had seen a lot of things flying around crazy in the sky. One student, a senior, said to me, “I don’t believe in ghosts or goblins or aliens or UFOs, but I’ve seen a lot of stars dancing around in the sky.”

This campground is surrounded by woods and farm land. Across the street from it is farm, as well as next door, and as far as I know, the farm fields continue down the street heading away from the camp. One night early in the week I happened to be out walking around when I saw a light in the sky.

I don’t know why I stopped to watch it, but I’m glad I did. It appeared to be low to the ground, which was confirmed a moment later, and it was traveling slowly to the left. Maybe a far off plane? Well, it stopped moving to the left and just hung there. Then a spot light came out of it, shining down to the ground. That’s when I could tell that it was indeed low to the ground, and actually not far off but just down and across the street from me. It began traveling to the right, back the way it had been going, spotlight still shining. Then the spotlight went off, the light continued going to the right a few seconds longer, then it just vanished. There were no noises. If I had to guess at how far away it was down the road, maybe a half mile at most.

That’s not the only time I’ve encountered a UFO out around Hueston Woods, except the first time I was a baby. My dad was out driving around with me, as he’s done my entire life, and we were out that way. It was day, bright and sunny, and he told me while traveling down one of those country roads his car just shut off. I can’t recall if he told me he saw anything, but there was a farm house down the road, so he got me out of my car seat and carried me down the road to that house. The farmer told my dad that everything in his house had gone off, too. Then suddenly a moment later, it all came back on. Dad carried me back to the car and it worked again, too.

Just before I was born he was living in that small Indiana house and experienced some things there, and that’s right down the road from Hueston Woods.

More recently, probably around the time I was a teenager, dad told me he had been traveling through Butler County down a country road, at night, when he saw bright lights behind him in his rear view. They were coming up on him really fast and he thought whoever it was was going to ram him right off the road. He said it seemed as if the lights went through his truck and when they got in front of him they went up into the sky and flew off. Later he heard reports on the news that inmates of the Butler County Jail, which was near where he was that night, had seen strange things in the sky.

I recently wrote about ghosts at a lake in Indiana where I hang out. That lake is just a few miles away from Oxford, OH, and Hueston Woods. While there I’ve seen some strange things in the sky but we’ve always passed them off as something else, so who knows. A buddy of mine, a few years ago and when I wasn’t there, also claims to have seen what he considered to be a UFO and took a picture of it with his cell phone, but not much other than a tiny light barely appeared in the picture.

So, do you believe? I’m not sure what I believe, but I know what I saw that night at the camp.

The Ghost Truck

Yesterday on my regular blog, I followed a Daily Post prompt and wrote about getting lost while driving. In that piece I brought up one of the cool things that happened to me when I used to go driving around all night with my buddy, and here’s that story in full form.

We were out late one night, as per usual, just driving around. Most of the time we had no goal other than to have a good time. Just driving around, all over the place, always gave us that good time. But sometimes we would have a mission, and on this particular night we had one.

My buddy was in the market for a new chainsaw. At the time he was working as a tree guy, cutting down peoples trees for good money. I can’t remember what I was doing at the time, probably nothing good or worth talking about.

Since he wanted a chainsaw, he did his research, as he does with everything, and he decided he wanted a Stihl. He also located all of the official stores that sold those particular saws and he wanted to go to those closest to where we lived to see what their business hours were.

That Small Indiana House Pt. 2

Being that this was a small country house in Indiana, it had an outhouse in the back yard. This was the only place to use the bathroom (unless you found a bush). One night Chris decided she had to use the bathroom but didn’t want to go all the way out to the outhouse, so she went outside to the side of the house and squatted.

Then she was surrounded by light. She said something came to her from the sky and was shining a spot light on her. The wind was blowing hard but there was no other sound. Then she said she began being pulled upwards toward the light and she had to grab onto the clothesline to keep from being pulled away. Then the light and the wind were both gone instantly and she fell to the ground. She ran into the house and stayed there.

Another night when my dad was there, he was in the kitchen and they were eating. He said the kitchen lit up as if someone had pulled in the driveway with their headlights on. Then the lights grew brighter quickly, as if the person were driving fast right at the house. He said the lights seemed to go right through the kitchen and then they were gone. They expected the house to be smashed to bits, but nothing happened after that.

One time my dad had to stay with them for a while. His car had broken down so he was using their old pick up truck to go to work. He was working in Oxford with the Sanitation crew. As he drove towards Oxford in the dark early morning, the truck suddenly shut off. As he rolled to a stop, he said the winds picked up and he was surrounded by light. He said the corn fields were blowing around like crazy and in another field he could see cows tilted into the wind trying to stay standing. The hood on the truck melted. Then it all stopped.

He walked back to the house and told them what had happened. They were upset about the truck, but realized he hadn’t caused it when they noticed the corn was all knocked over and burned. Later, inmates at the Butler County Jail reported seeing lights all over in the sky that were dancing around.
